How we contract

Plain terms, before you ask.

Fixed price, 50/50 payment, you own the code. Here's the whole shape of it, in a page you can read in two minutes.

Who you contract with

Telkast is a trading name of Ayush Jha, India. Your agreement is with Ayush Jha trading as Telkast.

Scope and price

Every phase has a written scope and a fixed price, agreed before work begins. Prices are in USD unless we agree GBP, AUD or AED in the contract. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted before we do it, so there are no surprise invoices.

Payment

50% to begin a phase and 50% on delivery. Bank transfer or card. Each phase is paid on its own, so you never pay ahead for work that hasn't started.

Pilots

A pilot is a fixed fee for one workflow, or one motion pack, in two weeks. If you go on to a Core or Systems build within 90 days, the pilot fee is credited in full. If it doesn't work for you, you keep what we built and we part ways cleanly.

Who owns the code

You do. The source, designs and content we build for you are assigned to you in the contract, effective once that phase is paid in full. The repo and hosting live in your accounts from day one. Open-source libraries stay under their own licences.

Confidentiality

We sign your NDA before we see anything sensitive. Your business data stays in your accounts, and role-based access and encrypted backups are standard.

AI-made work

Our motion work is AI-led and made from your brand assets. We don't shoot or edit filmed footage, and we show you samples before you commit.

After launch

Core builds include 30 days of fixes. After that you can run it yourself with the documentation we hand over, or take the monthly Run plan for hosting, fixes and small improvements. Cancel any month.

Stopping

You can stop after any phase and keep everything built so far. Work already delivered is paid for; nothing is held back and there is no lock-in.

The signed agreement

This page is a plain-English summary of how we work, not the contract itself. The agreement we both sign for your project governs, including governing law and any terms specific to your work.
